Materials and guidance relating to the Secondary Framework are available from the 'Secondary' section of the DCSF National Strategies website. The National Strategies website includes support and guidance for:
- the development, planning, teaching and assessment of the secondary English, mathematics, ICT and science frameworks;

The secondary curriculum
National Curriculum: Key Stages 3 and 4
The National Curriculum website contains the National Curriculum for England at Key Stages 3 and 4, including statutory and other requirements. It discusses developments relating to the secondary curriculum at Key Stages 3 and 4, which came into force in schools in September 2008, and includes details of cross-curriculum dimensions and guidance on assessment.

14 to 19 Reform
The DCSF 14 to 19 Reform website is aimed at schools and colleges, local authorities and partnerships, universities, employers, and parents and carers. It contains the latest news, information and developments relating to the reform of the secondary curriculum and the introduction and delivery of 14 to 19 Diplomas.
Curriculum Design
The Specialist Schools and Academies Trust (SSAT) is working with national partners to support schools as they respond to the opportunities offered through the reform of the secondary curriculum and 14 to 19 reforms. The SSAT's Curriculum Design: Disciplined Innovation in Practice website contains resources supporting this programme, details of related events and examples of curriculum design in schools.

Schemes of work, which are not statutory, can be taken as a starting point for planning. Whole schemes or individual units can be used, customising them to meet the changing needs and abilities of students.
