Performance management: Latest news
- September 2009: revised performance-management
documents have been published.
- October 2007: A revised checklist for 2007 has
been published. This will help schools carry out a light touch validation
process of their performance management and pay systems.
- September 2007: New performance regulations are now in force. The revised
arrangements came into effect on 1 September 2007.
- June 2007: A revised framework of professional
standards for teachers in England from September 2007 has been published.

- May 2007: New performance management 'How
to' sheets are available to support schools and LAs .
- March 2007: RIG has published a new model
performance management policy for schools, which includes a model
classroom observation protocol. This model policy has been developed to
support the revised arrangements which come into force from 1 September
2007.
- March 2007: Links to the TDA's FAQs on the
revised arrangements from 1 September 2007 have been added.
