Unattached teachers' report: 26 June 2007
The letter to the OME, along with the Department's unattached teacher investigation report about the pay and conditions of unattached teachers was sent to the STRB on 26 June.
Remit to undertake review of teachers' pay: 5 June 2007
Alan Johnson, the then Secretary of State wrote to the STRB about the teachers' pay review mechanism in their 15th report. He concluded the best course would be for the STRB to consider these concerns — alongside other evidence about retention and recruitment and the impacts on budgets.

School Teachers' Pay and Conditions Document 2007 (STPCD)
The pay order for the School Teachers' Pay and Conditions Document 2007 (STPCD) (section 2) was laid before Parliament on 8 August. It has been approved by Parliament and came into force on 01 September. It is available as either a PDF document or as a four-part Word document.

2007 safeguarding guidance
The Safeguarding Guidance and Examples have been updated for 2007 along with Guidance Notes on General Safeguarding for Teachers.
